Bayleigh | 9 months

I was so excited for this session because of the beautiful weather, the green grass (finally!), and this adorable little girl. She was so smiley and curious the entire session - a photographer's dream right there. It was also a lot of fun to experiment with the bubbles and see how she loved them. They were so fascinating to her! Anyways, this session was a blast. I had a great time capturing Bayleigh's personality and her beautiful hazel eyes.

Curt was working and I was not. My 50 mm lens was just staring at me,

wanting to take pictures. 

The only person available was me,

so I started working with the camera.

Self portraits can be so fun,

but difficult too! 

I kept focusing on the wrong thing or missing my face completely.

Eventually I started figuring it out.

And this is what turned out...

It was a blast getting together with James and Sherree after the stress of the wedding day. We were all able to have fun and relax. That is why I love these photos so much. Their personalities radiate through all of them! Despite hot weather and bugs getting stuck in Sherree's dress, they are still glowing with happiness. Love you guys!

Meet Alina. 

She is a beautiful, spirited three year old who loved to give BIG hugs. And not to mention run around as fast as she can. I have no idea how she had the energy. It seriously was 97 degrees out and as humid as ever. I was getting tired just watching her! But I think the cold can of Sprite  helped her out a little bit. My favorite part was when she was playing with the vintage duck. She named him Splashy and fed him grass. How adorable is that?! I had SO much fun with this family. They are all so great and I just love their photos as well. Enjoy!

Senior year is one of the best years! So much excitement and anticipation builds up. This is the year where decisions are made and opportunities taken. I am so excited for Shannon and all the awesome things that lay ahead of her. She is one stinkin' cute girl and we had such a fun time climbing through creeks, trails, and steep rock beds. We definitely got some awesome shots because of it. Enjoy, and congratulations Shannon!
